JV/M is constantly looking for experienced, professional business-to-business freelance (Independent Contractor) telemarketers, inside salespeople and executive appointment-setters to generate leads on behalf of our growing client base. If you love prospecting and cold-calling on the phone, and know how to make something from nothing, make your next call to JV/M.

Why Work With JV/M?

Stop job hopping - JV/M has many projects for you to work on, so you don't have to change jobs every time your employer or agency changes the deal or "welches" on compensation. Because we have a backlog of projects, our Independent Contractors work on what's going to be the most fun, and make them the most money.

Independence and flexibility - Since most of our work is done via the telephone, working from home is a viable option for our projects. Flexible hours, and full-time or part-time projects are available on an independent contractor basis, enable you to fit your work into your life, not your life into your work.

Work on fun projects - We know we're good at what we do, so we get to pick and choose the projects we accept. If it's not fun, why do it?

Upside potential - Once you prove yourself, many projects have incentives and the potential for increased earnings through commissions tied to results. We're looking for a win-win, and that includes you.

Coaching and support - JV/M provides extensive sales coaching and support. (We do not provide formal training.) Every technique we use is in a book somewhere, and is time-tested and well documented, so they're both effective and learnable. You'll never be left alone trying to figure out how to get results.

Good money - We know the value of what you do, and we can afford to pay you more than the going rate. And we don't believe in forcing you to work on a straight pay-for-performance basis, so you can start with a good base and, depending on how you do, you can only go up from there.

The Application Process

To get started, take a look around our Web site, and decide whether or not JV/M looks like the kind of "place" you'd like to work. If so, fax your resume to JV/M at 856-316-7465. Be sure that it shows your business-to-business sales experience, and especially, your successes in measureable terms.

Then take our Telemarketing Skills Assessment. We now have a 45 question test that we use to get to know a little bit about your selling style, which you can find here. It is a proven predictor of success in B2B telemarketing at JV/M. (Note: The passing grade is 40%, so don't worry if you don't get a high score. Also, keep in mind that what we do is quite specialized. If you don't pass the test, it doesn't mean you won't be successful in sales -- it just means that it's just not a good fit on our kind of projects.)

If your resume and the results of the Telemarketing Skills Assessment look good, we'll interview you over the phone, and you can interview us, too, to see if there's a fit. You don't even have to come in to our office for an interview -- all of our Independent Contractors work from home or their own offices in faraway cities.

At that point, though, we can make a decision about whether to work together or not. This means giving you a project where you can show your stuff, and get paid for it. And if you do a good job, we keep working together.

The Fine Print

There are no guarantees in this world, and so we can't guarantee that our relationship is going to last forever. We do, however, require all Independent Contractors to sign a non-disclosure agreement on behalf of JV/M and its clients. It keeps us focused, and protects everyone from getting distracted. Because this is an Independent Contractor relationship, you need to have an EIN and a fictitious name under which to operate; and meet all state requirements for operating on an Independent Contractor basis.

Other details: If you need us to take care of the phone bill, let us know. All documentation is done on our Web site, where you post your activity (so you can get paid via an online invoicing process,) and results so the client can see them. And everybody has a chance to receive sales coaching and support so that your skills can get better and better.
