How We Work
JV/M provides telemarketing, lead generation and executive appointment-setting services that can enable you to penetrate and develop new markets, unhook competition, and acquire significant new blocks of market share. We can also provide you with target lists that help you know who to go after, we can help you develop effective collateral material and sales aids so you can communicate more effectively with your prospects. We can even enable you to track your sales progress with our online contact management system so you have better control and understanding of what's happening with your investment. In fact, we can even help you staff, train and manage your sales team, if you'd like, so you're sure that your leads will get closed successfully. But what we bring to the table that almost no one else can do is help you to grow your business by getting you in the door with qualified prospects who have a need for your products or services, and who want to talk with you about how you can help; and so we provide everything you need to increase your sales, whether you need to grow 20%, or 200%.
The process of delivering these results involves two steps. The first step is where we develop and conduct a "Pilot Program" in which we create and write the strategy, and then roll it out and try to prove it in. The goal of this pilot program is to generate real sales leads for you, of course, and jump-start the revenue flow; but we want to do it slowly and on a relatively small scale (monitoring things carefully, and adjusting the approach as needed,) so that we don't burn through the budget without having achieved success. In the second step, (i.e. once we've proven that the approach works to generate new business for you in a profitable manner,) we scale up the program (i.e. adding resources commensurate with the now-proven business model,) to achieve your near, intermediate and long term sales and profitability objectives.
Step 1: The Pilot Program
Most projects start with a trial, or pilot campaign, the goal of which is two-fold: The principal goal, of course, is to generate some good, qualified sales leads (usually anywhere from 10-25 leads of appointments for the typical pilot program, but potentially more depending on the product and the market.) Ideally, there will be time for these leads to close and ring your cash register, although that depends somewhat on your natural sell-cycle. But the other goal is that we also want to make sure that we generate those leads with an economical, profitable and scalable process – so you can realize higher revenues and higher profits profits day after day, month after month.
The typical Pilot campaign, therefore, has two phases: a Planning phase and a Calling phase.
The Planning Phase: Writing The Telemarketing Plan
It may just be a simple statement of goals and objectives, or it may be an elaborate plan that includes research, features and benefits, script elements, objections handles, training and logistics. Once you approve the Telemarketing Plan, we then complete the training of our Lead Generation Specialist, upload the list, and start calling.
The Calling Phase: Implementation and Feedback
Pilot campaigns can last from a minimum of 60 hours (spread over 2-3 weeks,) to as much as 250 hours (spread over 2-3 months. But we don't scale up a program until we're sure that what we're doing works, and that it's profitable for you. So you don't end up throwing more resources than necessary at the problem until you're sure you're going to get a positive return on your investment.

Step 2: Scaling Up
If the pilot program is successful at generating profitable new business for you, you than have the option of continuing with it, scaling it up, or even bringing it in-house. Ongoing programs also open up the possibility of risk-sharing, since everyone now understands the true costs and benefits of the process.
Conversion to an Ongoing Campaign
The results of the pilot program tell us what to do next. Are we finding new business for you? Can you close it? Is it good business? And is it profitable? In fact, in general, a pilot program will tell you the coefficients you need to develop a good business model, one that you can literally take to the bank.
Based on the results of the pilot, though, you may conclude that you want to just continue it on a month-to-month basis; you may want to repeat it every few months; or you may want to scale it up and dominate your market. If so, we can help you do it. (Or you may conclude that, while it worked, you would prefer to do it in-house in the future; in which case we'll help you bring it in.) Either way, a successful pilot program will give you the cookbook for future success.
While pilot programs are generally "fee paid," ongoing programs give us the opportunity to consider incentivized compensation such as:
- Pay-per-lead
- Pay-per-appointment
- Pay-per-close
- Commission-based
Some campaigns can just continue directly from the pilot program. Programs that are going to be scaled up simply require the addition of resources. But the conversion to an ongoing campaign may also broaden the objectives to include additional products, markets and goals. [More details...]

On it, we post our hours, dials, contacts and appointments, as well as call details and leads or appointments every day. We can also call you whenever we find a lead, fax it to you, email it to you, or even dial in to your VPN and post the data directly into your contact management system.
We also provide you with several ways to provide us with feedback, on every lead if you'd like. Our online Contact Management System gives you nine metrics that you can use to report back to us on the quality of the lead, as well as an unlimited free-text area, that goes directly to your Project Manager and your Lead Generation Specialist. We can also call you after every appointment to find out how it went - because we really care about your success. And you can kick leads back to us automatically if there's a no-show or other problem - even if you're on the road, because we guarantee our work.
