The most important tool for achieving success as an authorized sales representative for the Lead Generator is the Sales Plan - which describes how to promote the system to networking groups. Be sure to read the plan carefully, as all the primary script elements (including the 30-second commercial,) are in it. As an authorized sales representative, your role is to promote the Lead Generator to potential users, uncover their needs for sales growth and cost reduction, and show them how to use The Lead Generator as a key tool in meeting these goals. Consequently, you'll need to be able to:

  • Help them register as a New User
  • Help them post their company's initial, required entries (including their Company Description, their Products & Services, and their Needs using SIC Codes.)
  • Help them post their company's other entries (such as their Organization Chart, their Ads, and any Leads they have,) and
  • Help them upload their contact List.

You should also be able to show users how to Search for leads, update entries, post and follow blogs, and send and receive Messages so that they can get the most value from their investment.

The material is somewhat redundant here because different audiences require different approaches and depths of explanation. But it's important that you at least "get it." That is, it's important that you understand how the Lead Generator works, and why it works, in order to sell it effectively. At some point, you should have an "a-Ha!" moment where you recognize how and why the Lead Generator works - an understanding that your prospects will need to gain, too, so that they become customers.
